The Stampede Soccer Academy program is an alternative to the traditional recreational team program and serves to prepare players for the game at the competitive level by offering an opportunity for advanced development in soccer through a progressive and innovative program that is fun, challenging and conducive to optimal player development.  In additon, all weekly training and skills sessions are held in Denton which is convenient for busy families and helps reduce traveling expenses.   

Objective: To develop the Technical, Tactical, Psychological and Physical components of each Stampede Academy player in a progressive and age appropriate manner while providing an environment that promotes growth and enjoyment for the game of soccer.

Philosophy: The Stampede Academy program focuses primarily on the improvement of the individual player in a supportive environment that emphasizes both skillful play and enjoyment.  Training sessions will demonstrate the basic techniques of soccer and allow players to practice these techniques through skill-building games and game related repetition/competition.         

Stampede Soccer Academy includes:  (FINANCIAL INFO COMING SOON!!!)
- 1 Training Session per week
- 1 Skills Session per week (optional)
- 1 Stampede Academy practice t-shirt
- Premier Academy League Registration and Referee fees
 (PAL games are played on Sunday afternoons)
- 1 tournament

Academy Team Uniform package includes: (one time cost - $80)
- 1 blue jersey w/ number
- 1 white jersey w/number
- 1 pair of blue shorts
- 1 pair of blue socks
- 1 soccer backpack

Stampede Soccer Academy Age Requirements for Fall 2009:
U10 girls & boys (00s) - born between Aug 1, 1999 and July 31, 2000
U9 girls & boys (01s) - born between Aug 1, 2000 and July 31, 2001

How to join the Stampede Soccer Academy: Players that meet the age requirements above must first register with the Denton Soccer Association (DSA) as a recreational player.  DSA registration dates for the Fall 2009 season are June 23-28, July 14-19 and July 21-26 at the Northlakes Soccer Complex.  The individual DSA registration fee allows each child to play on their recreational team, or a Stampede Academy team or both.  Once registered with DSA, interested players must complete an Academy Player Registration Form  which will be available at DSA registration.

- Stampede Soccer Academy Fee - $140 (per season)


IMPORTANT NOTE: Stampede Soccer Club MUST have a Stampede Academy Registration/Release Form on file for everyone who attends one of our sessions.
